The Children of Herakles
A Tragedy, Fantasy, Greece book. In case of dissension, never dare to judge till you've heard the other side. Euripides, The Children of Herakles...

More About The Children of Herakles
In case of dissension, never dare to judge till you've heard the other side. Euripides, The Children of Herakles //
Really doesn't do anything different from the typical tropes of the Greek theater. Maidens sacrificing themselves, fugitives seeking asylum in Athens, questions of justice.... same old same old. Parafraseando a Aira: cmo me torr! Reminded me very much of Aeschlyus's the Suppliants Euripidies Iphigenia at Aulis with much less to make it distinct. Most of the great tragedies seem to focus on the some sort of dilemma or argument this one had too many all of which seemed resolved to quickly. Really I would only recommend this for completists.
