In God's Time
Do you suppose kissing is like riding a bicycle? Dawn M. Turner, In God's Time //
Tara Whitman has a big problem. She's in love with her best friend, and it's getting harder to hide it from him. She fears the truth will destroy a friendship she holds dear, even as she battles jealousy toward the string of leggy blondes that parade through Jack’s life. Jack Carlton spends his free time at one social event or another with the latest woman he dates to protect a huge secret he’s keeping from Tara - he’s in love with her, has been for years. Haunted by the memory of a kiss shared in their teens, he doesn’t want to endanger their friendship. Yet the thought of her kissing someone else drives him to distraction if he lets himself dwell on it.

Which would give her an ulcer first? All the aspirin and prescription pain medication she took, or Jack Carlton? Then again, that left only one cause, since he was the reason she needed the drugs to begin with. Dawn M. Turner, In God's Time // Jack watched Tara glide around the dance floor with the best man, a knot of jealousy threatening to strangle him. Just the phrase 'best man' raised his ire. Who had come up with that turn of phrase anyway? Dawn M. Turner, In God's Time // Do you suppose kissing is like riding a bicycle? Dawn M. Turner, In God's Time //
Wow. This was an amazing read. It showed the power of God and that good things come to those who wait. Also that everything truly does happen in God's time. We may not know how it all plays out but He does. Just finished reading this last night. Good scripture passages that go with a good plot. Can't help cheering on the MCs. Well done, Dawn M. Turner.
