I think there's a really good chance this, or at least something else by Lindsay Hunter, will be getting five stars from me some time in the future. To start, her prose is pulsing and propels you to the end. It's often a wild ride at a blistering pace. And her writing reminds me of growing up in the weird sprawl of Florida even thought... This is the type of fiction and short stories I have been waiting for all my life. Not every story was a banger, but I tell you what, when they were, they hit hard. I'm so glad Pissed Jeans put her on a record. Moving on to her novel next. She makes me want to up my game. I know I should feel disgusted by this work, but I don't.
