I keep reading Ruth Ann Nordin's new releases, but they have been disappointing. "Her Devilish Marquess" had some great moments, but...1) The historical accuracy with a "physician hero" wasn't great, even by Ruth Ann Nordin's standards2) A good deal of the story felt like filler3) The romantic conflict was unusually lame. The hero was... ++SPOILERS++3 stars Meh.I would read the first one before this, but i suppose it can be a stand alone.The reason I say this, and the reason for the lowered stars is that this book has too much of Regan & Malcom in it (the couple of the first book) and not enough of the real MC's Danette and Derek.
