I really liked the drawing in this, but otherwise it is an unremarkable entry in the autobiographical genre. I hope the author still works in 20 years' time, that book might be more interesting. I'd originally discovered Wertz through a copy of her book Drinking at the Movies, which I loved but felt like she'd been keeping us (the readers) at arm's length for the most part. I did not get that feeling in this book and I think that this is quite possibly the best book she's written so far. The setting of this volume is Wertz's... I laughed, I cried, I laughed again. I love Julia with all my heart.
